SEATTLE – SEPTEMBER 3, 2002 – Multimedia 2000 today announced the release of the Webster’s Millennium Platinum Encyclopedia Collection, a five-CD set that offers an incredible range of information, facts, and features for one low price. The collection offers something for everyone, from the best multimedia encyclopedia and dictionary on the market, to reference works written and designed just for kids, to the 10,000 maps and charts of the completely updated atlas.

The Webster’s 2003 Millennium Encyclopedia is the latest edition of the renowned work, completely revised with brand-new articles and updated information. The CD-ROM features over 50,000 articles and 20,000 biographical entries, as well as thousands of sound and video clips, photos, and maps.

No reference collection would be complete without a dictionary, and the Random House Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary is one of the best, with over 300,000 entries and thousands of spot maps and illustrations. The CD-ROM contains over 120,000 audio pronunciations, great for anybody who doesn’t know a schwa from a diphthong.
